Experienced Charity Leadership – When You Need It

Practical support for charities navigating change, pressure or growth.

I work with leaders and boards to bring clarity, strengthen income, balance budgets and make confident decisions about what comes next..

When things feel unclear, stuck or under pressure — I help you bring clarity and take action.

About Me

I’ve spent my career working inside charities — leading teams, building organisations, and stepping in when things aren’t working.

Most recently, I was CEO of musicALL, where I grew the organisation and secured long-term funding to support young people with additional support needs across Scotland.

Now I work with charities who need experienced leadership — without bringing in a full-time CEO.

What makes me different is how I work.

I see patterns quickly, get to the heart of issues, and understand what’s really going on — not just what’s being said, but what’s underneath it.

That comes from experience, but also from how my brain works — I’m neurodivergent, with ADHD.

I don’t leave things half-resolved or sitting in the “too difficult” category.

Work is usually agreed as a clear scope or project, rather than isolated days — so you get the thinking, preparation and follow-through around the time you see.

When you need someone to step in and lead

Sometimes organisations don’t just need advice — they need someone to take the lead.

I step in on a short-term basis to stabilise teams, support leadership transitions and keep things moving.

I’ve done this as a CEO and senior leader — so I understand the pressure and what’s needed.
